What are platform usage charges?

Your Avantwerk subscription covers the platform, your setup, and all automation infrastructure. A small number of features — SMS messages, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and AI services — are billed separately based on what you actually use each month.

These charges come from the underlying communications and AI infrastructure providers. We pass them through at cost plus a small service margin. Most clients spend between £10 and £50 per month on usage — often less.

Billing Currency Notice

All usage charges originate from upstream providers and are billed in US Dollars (USD). GBP prices shown on this page are approximate conversions for reference only, based on the exchange rate at the date of last update. Actual charges may vary slightly as exchange rates fluctuate.

Exchange rate used on this page: $1 = £0.74 — last updated February 2026. Avantwerk will notify clients of any material upstream price changes with 30 days’ notice.

Usage rates are set by upstream infrastructure providers and may change. Avantwerk will update this page and notify active clients with at least 30 days’ notice before any material price increase takes effect.

Exchange rates are reviewed monthly. The GBP approximations on this page are updated when the USD/GBP rate moves by more than 5%.
