When do I need to sign this agreement?

The Professional Services Agreement should be signed before any implementation work begins. It forms the legal foundation for all project-based work, including platform setup, customisation, and consulting services.

What is the difference between ready packages and custom projects?

Ready implementation packages (Ignite AI, Elevate AI, Momentum AI, Apex AI) are ready-built templates configured for your industry, purchased through our website and paid in full at the time of purchase. Any custom design, integrations, or bespoke features beyond the standard package scope may incur additional charges. Custom projects are fully bespoke implementations tailored to your specific needs, paid via a deposit upon contract signing followed by stage payments as milestones are completed.

What is the Statement of Work?

The Statement of Work (SOW) is an attachment to the main agreement that details the specific project scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. Each implementation project has its own SOW that becomes part of the overall agreement.

Can I cancel after purchasing?

Yes. For distance contracts (online purchases), you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU consumer protection laws. To cancel, simply email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. If you requested services to begin immediately and then cancel, you will only pay for work completed up to that point. Refunds are processed within 14 days using your original payment method.

Who owns the deliverables?

You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use all deliverables created specifically for your project. We retain ownership of the Avantwerk platform, underlying technology, and any pre-existing materials used in the project.

Can the scope be changed during the project?

Yes, through a formal change request process. Any changes to scope must be documented in writing and agreed by both parties. This may result in adjustments to timelines and fees.

What happens if the project needs to be terminated early?

Either party can terminate with 30 days written notice. For ready packages, refund policies apply as per our Terms of Service. For custom projects, you pay for all work completed to date and receive all finished deliverables and work in progress for which payment has been made.
